I recently upgraded my iPhone to iOS 17 and saw that there are notifications whenever I keep my phone close to my face. Although I realize that the feature known as Screen Distance is intended to promote better eye health while using iPhones, I believe that it is quite distracting while I read news articles or videos or play games.
After looking into how to turn off screen distance feature, I learned that one can disable it within the Screen Time section in a couple of minutes. It took me a minute to modify the setting, and now I can use my phone without notifications disturbing me.
Does anybody else have turned off this feature? Or do you like using it for your eye health? Share your thoughts, experiences, tips, or recommendations in the comments section below.
