Is Your Display Quality Compromising Your Media Production?

In the world of creative media and content distribution, visual fidelity is the cornerstone of quality. However, I’ll make a strong affirmative statement: most creators are editing and reviewing their projects on screens that are fundamentally lying to them. If you aren't regularly checking for backlight bleed or pixel inconsistencies, you are making creative decisions based on hardware flaws rather than artistic intent. I firmly believe that "display integrity" is a neglected pillar of modern production. I’ve started using this Black Screen Tool to verify my panel’s uniformity before every color grading session to ensure my black levels are actually black. Do you think we’ve become too complacent with consumer-grade hardware in professional creative spaces, or is the concern over a few dead pixels just elitist nitpicking?
