This story has always been fascinating to me. In Surah Al-Hijr, the Qur’an says:
“All the angels prostrated—except Iblis; he refused to be among them.” (15:30–31)
Some say it was pure arrogance. Others say it was part of a bigger divine plan. And some believe the issue wasn’t just about a command, but about Iblis’ inner nature.
