The Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek was one of the most rewarding adventures I experienced in Nepal. This 16-day journey took me through remote villages in eastern Nepal, dense forests, and wide mountain valleys. The trail felt peaceful and far away from busy trekking routes.
Along the way, I walked through rhododendron forests, crossed small rivers, and passed traditional settlements where life felt simple and untouched. I also saw many birds and signs of rich biodiversity throughout the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area.
As I moved higher, the views of Mt. Kanchenjunga, the world’s third-highest mountain, became more stunning each day. The trek was physically challenging, with long walking hours and changing terrain, but the natural beauty and quiet surroundings made every step meaningful and worth it.
