Porcelain paving is manufactured, non-porous, and very low maintenance – it resists stains, algae, and doesn’t fade easily. Sandstone paving, like Indian sandstone, is natural stone, so every slab has unique patterns and colour variations. Sandstone is more “traditional” and blends well in British gardens, but it’s more porous, meaning it may need sealing to prevent staining and moss growth.
