To passengers traveling soon with Lufthansa, here is some little useful nugget of wisdom regarding the baggage policies followed by the carrier: As far as the Economy fare goes, it allows for a single checked bag (not exceeding 23 kg in weight), while the Premium Economy allows double the number of bags. The Lufthansa Business Class baggage policy is even better: two check-in bags of up to 32 kg each, in addition to two carry-ons (weighing 8 kg each), plus a personal item. There is priority baggage handling for Business Class. However, be careful with the ticket information, as overweight or oversized cargo may be charged for overweight policies.
