Joining a support group made a huge difference in my experience as an Alzheimer’s caregiver. Sharing struggles, tips, river ranch resort rv park and emotional moments with others who truly understand helped lighten the emotional load. It reminded me I wasn’t alone, and that sense of community brought real relief during overwhelming times.

Can support groups help reduce caregiver stress for Alzheimer’s?

Alzheimer’s Family Of Friends Foundation was born from personal experience and a deep understanding of the challenges families face after an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Our Founder and CEO has lived through this journey—having lost his mother to Parkinson’s and his in-laws to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. When his wife was recently diagnosed with alzheimer's caregiver support groups, he made a powerful commitment: to help other families carry the financial burden, so they can focus on what truly matters—caring for their loved ones.
