The exciting ending of Part 2, where Poppy abruptly guided you to the unidentified Playcare zone just in time to prevent the ship from plunging into the pit while you were leaving the Playtime Co. facility by train, served as the inspiration for this episode. For no obvious reason, every employee at Playcare, a nursery that had previously been situated in a toy company, disappeared. Based on the gas mask in the Part 3 teaser, there will probably be terrifying beasts around. Rumor had it that Poppy Playtime's third chapter would provide players a unique terrifying experience along with an interesting story.
