Hello. Once I also lost my earrings and because of this I started to panic a lot and did not know what to do, because it was a gift from my husband. Fortunately, I was able to find a store that sold the same yellow diamond earrings as the ones I lost. I immediately bought them and was amazed at their quality and beauty. I advise you to pay attention.

I dropped off diamond earring for repair at a Helzberg mall store, (because they did a fine job with a ring repair And a watch battery replacement). The earrings needed new screwbacks. I asked if this was something they could handle and the sales rep said yes- he would have to send them away but they would be in good hands. Unfortunately I did not take a photo of the earrings as they were in his possession. Protect yourself friends. These were 1.5 karat each diamonds studs. 18k appraised. When I went to pick them up- Not my earrings. They asked if my diamonds had an identifiable # which they did not. I asked them to weigh and look at the earrings they were trying to give back to me under their scope- which identified them as forever one , moissanite. Earrings were .75 k. Each. I filed police report. Sent photos of me wearing my earrings, original jewelers appraisal. Even photos of the me wearing the earrings with the back showing- which they still have in their possession. They take no responsibility for the “loss” or “mix up”. No recourse. Just dishonest. Protect yourself through every step. You can’t be too careful.
