What Is A How Character Reference Letter And How To Write It?

character reference letter (also known as a personal reference letter) is a letter written by someone who knows the job candidate and can speak to their character and abilities. Unlike professional references, the person writing the reference is not an employer. A character or personal reference letter is a formal letter written to the employers by any contact of a candidate highlighting the applicant’s personal attributes.

Those who are not professionally associated with the candidate can submit this letter by listing out the candidate’s abilities and characters in a way suitable for the employers to understand and decide whether or not he/she is a perfect fit for the organization. Specifically, some companies will decide to give a job offer to the applicants only after analyzing the reference letter. Hence, the need for a well-written personal reference letter is high.
