What are the different types of patterns used in a fabric?

Fabric cloth comes in numerous shapes, sizes, patterns in different materials. So, sometimes it is hard to decide which one to choose among these different patterns. So, here are some of the most famous fabric designs, including geometric pattern fashion fabric, basketweave, checkered, and many more, which you commonly see in your house on sofas, chairs, beds, clothes, and mats as well. These patterns make your home look attractive, colorful, and vibrant.

Types of patterns

There are different types of patterns such as:

·         Basketweave

It is patterned with the crisscross weave of a basket. Basketweave patterns are woven, and some of them are printed onto a piece of fabric to create a symmetrical effect.

·         Geometric

Geometric patterns include an immense variety of shapes, motifs, and designs. These are overlapping and repeating lines and shapes which symbolize bold and versatile image. Also, these patterns are never out of fashion.

·         Chevron

Zigzagging stripes represent chevron. These patterns are an infusion of flair into a subdued space and are preferred by most designers.

·         Checkered

Checkered patterns are the most recognizable and popular way they are presented through a simple checkboard in different alternating colors. Usually, the most common check pattern is black and white. Moreover, these patterns are used for curtains, t-shirts, and even in mats.
