If you have received the email and clicked the link, which has taken you to your ‘My Account’ page, then that means, you are still signed into your account and it will not be possible for you to reset the password without knowing the current password.
If you want to bypass this, then you will have to select the option of ‘Change Password’, select ‘Sign Out’, which is given at the top corner of the page and then, request the password reset option.
In case you are using a smartphone or tablet, then you need to tap ‘three horizontal’ lines given at the top corner of the screen in order to find the option to sign out.
